THE BARON RETURNS
– Portrait of László Krasznahorkai
László Krasznahorkai is a mysterious knight of contemporary literature, or, as Susan Sontag described him; the Hungarian master of the apocalypse. He won the Kossuth Prize in Hungary and was also the recipient of the Man Booker Prize.
“I first spoke with László on a café terrace a couple of months before the launch of his new book. We were debating what we could show of him in a portrait film. I was curious to see the man behind the writer, but his response to everything was that it was impossible. This how this film began.” (Adam Breier – director)
