CONFECTIONER DYNASTIES

The film portrays the stories of four great Hungarian confectioner families; Auguszt, Bergman, Gerbeaud and Szamos. While their cakes and business strategies differ essentially, these families are still connected by a humility for the profession, constant innovation, and a destiny shared throughout the storms of history. Confectioner Dynasties is a curious, viewer-friendly film with success recipes both old and new. These were at times guidelines to wealth, and to survival in others; even though the single goal driving these families had always been to sweeten people’s lives.
